Software shaped around how you actually work.

Off-the-shelf software asks you to change how you work. For the things that make your business different, that trade is usually a bad one — you end up with workarounds, parallel spreadsheets and a tool nobody trusts. We build the system that matches your operation instead, and hand it over completely.

Is this you?

You probably need this if…

  • A spreadsheet is the real system of record, and everyone knows it
  • Your team re-types the same data into two or three different tools
  • The off-the-shelf tool fits about 70%, and the other 30% is manual
  • Reporting means someone exporting and reconciling by hand each month
  • A process everyone follows exists only in people's heads

What we do

How we approach it.

Model your operation properly

We write down the entities, the approvals and — crucially — the exceptions, before any code. That document is what the build is measured against, and it is yours.

Ship one real workflow early

One end-to-end process goes live on your data within weeks, while everything is still cheap to change. You judge working software, not mockups.

Build for the people who use it

Fast, keyboard-friendly screens for staff who live in the system all day, and simple ones for occasional users. Accessibility is part of the build, not a later audit.

Hand it over, completely

Source code, documentation, infrastructure configuration and a runbook. Any competent team can pick it up — including yours.

How to buy

How this is usually engaged.

1–2 weeks · fixed fee

Discovery sprint

We sit with the people who do the work and write down how your business actually runs — the entities, the approvals, the exceptions — then scope and estimate the build against it.

Defined outcome · staged payments

Fixed-scope project

A written scope, milestones you pay against, and working software in your hands early. Ninety days of defect warranty from go-live, measured against the scope we agreed.

Monthly · senior engineers

Dedicated team

Senior engineers working your backlog to your priorities, in your ceremonies. Useful when the destination is still moving, or when you need to add capacity to a team you already have.

More on how we work

FAQ

Questions we hear about this.

How long does a first version take?

The first real workflow is usually live in weeks, not months. A full replacement of a core system is typically a few months, rolled out in stages you can keep trading through.

Do we really own the code?

Yes, outright. The repository is yours, the documentation is yours, and the infrastructure configuration is yours. There is no licence to keep paying and no dependency on us to make a change.

Can you build on top of what we already have?

Often that's the cheaper path. If your existing system holds good data and only the workflow around it is broken, we'll build against it rather than replace it.

Talk to us about custom application development.

Describe what you run today and what isn't working. We'll come back with an honest view of what we would build, and what we wouldn't.
